Equipment

  • Bottle Opener
  • Jigger
  • Knife
  • 1 Fruit juicer
  • Cutting Board
  • Bar Spoon
  • Serving Glass

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle Corona Beer (mini bottle in this recipe)
  • 1 oz Orange Juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 Lime (wedge)
  • 1/2 oz Grenadine Syrup
  • 1 oz 1800 Tequila
  • 1 teaspoon Mango Powder

Instructions

  • Let’s start by drinking your Corona until the beer level is just below the label on the bottle.
  • Using your fruit juices, get out about 2 ounces of fresh orange juice next.
  • Carefully pour the tequila, grenadine sauce, and orange juice into the Corona bottle.
  • Then, carefully put a small amount of mango powder into the bottle.
  • Now, squeeze the lime wedge into the bottle and put it inside the bottle’s neck.
  • To gently mix the ingredients, plug the corona bottle’s top with your thumb and turn it upside down twice.
  • Serve and enjoy your Corona Sunrise Recipe!

Notes

  • Pour some beer into another glass or drink until you reach the label. You need to leave enough space for the new things. If you don’t, your drink will spill.
  • Always put the grenadine in last to get the look of sunrise or sunset.
  • You don’t have to stir the drink. The ombré look will go away.
For a more natural taste, make your own grenadine. The grenadine you buy at the store is much better.

Can I Use a Different Beer for The Corona Sunrise?

Yes, you can use other light lagers if you don’t have Corona. However, Corona’s distinct flavor complements the fruity and tangy ingredients best, enhancing the overall taste experience of the cocktail.

How Can I Prevent the Layers in My Corona Sunrise from Mixing Too Much?

Pour the grenadine slowly down the side of the glass to create a layered effect. The density of the grenadine will help it sink to the bottom, while the lighter liquids will stay on top, maintaining the sunrise appearance.
