– ¾ cup Parmesan Cheese – 4 tbsp Butter – 2 tsp Lemon juice – 4 Cloves garlic – 3 ½ cups Broccoli florets – 2 cups Chicken broth – ½ tsp Dried oregano, dried parsley – ½ tsp Onion powder, dried thyme, salt – 1 ½ cups Half and half – ½ lb Medium pasta shells
1. Gather and measure all ingredients before starting. 2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. 3. Sauté garlic for 1 minute. 4. Add chicken broth, half and half, and seasonings.
5. Bring to a boil, then add the pasta. 6. Ensure the pasta is submerged and return to a boil. 7. Cook partially covered as per package instructions. 8. Add broccoli in the last 6 minutes.
9. Stir occasionally with a silicone spatula to prevent sticking. 10. Uncover and test pasta for doneness. 11. If needed, cover and cook longer until pasta reaches the desired tenderness. 12. Remove from heat.
13. Stir in lemon juice and Parmesan cheese gently with a silicone spatula. 14. Let the sauce thicken while standing. 15. Garnish with parsley and serve with garlic bread topped with cheese.
