Thanksgiving leftovers. Every year I promise myself I’ll eat all the leftover turkey, and every year I fail. But not this year! We’re using all of that leftover turkey with these easy, 4-ingredient pulled turkey and cheese sandwiches!
These shredded turkey sandwiches with horseradish sauce are super simple to make and enjoy. A frozen turkey breast is slowly cooked with a few seasonings, resulting in tender shredded meat that’s perfect for sandwiches.
I love to add a spicy and creamy horseradish sauce – it’s the best way to serve these sandwiches. The slow cooker does all the work, giving you juicy and tender shredded turkey while you go about your day.
Store any leftover shredded turkey in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, place the turkey in a microwave-safe dish and heat in the microwave until warmed through.
