Looking to serve something special, but also a favorite that your guests already love? Then these 4th of July S’mores are perfect for your party menu! They are easy to put together because you make parts of the recipe beforehand, and the only thing to do before serving is to toast the marshmallow! Use a good quality chocolate for the ganache and a big star as the topper! Everyone will love these!

4th of July S’mores

 Graham Cracker Cups

12-13 Graham Crackers

2 tablespoons Sugar

1/2 cup Butter
Mini muffin pan

Chocolate Ganache

14 ounces good quality Milk Chocolate

1 1/4 cup Heavy Whipping Cream

Marshmallow Top

Jumbo Star Shaped Marshmallows

Kitchen Torch

Start by making graham crackers crumbs.

Use a food processor to make your crumbs very fine.

If you don’t have access to a food processor, place your

graham crackers in a zip lock bag and roll over them with

a rolling pin until they are finely crushed.

Place the graham cracker crumbs in a bowl

and add the sugar.

Melt your butter and add it to the graham cracker crumbs.

Mix the ingredients together.

Use a 1 tablespoon scoop, and place one in each mini muffin tin.

Then tamp down the mix with your fingers and spread the

graham cracker mix up the sides. These are “no bake”

so place in the refrigerator. You can freeze them also,
just give them time to thaw before assembly.

This is the chocolate I used. It is a really good chocolate

from Trader Joe’s. It cost right at $5.00 for this package.

You will want a good tasting chocolate for this recipe.

Chop your chocolate into small pieces and place

in a large bowl that can handle heat.

Heat your cream in a saucepan until it is 200 degrees.

Pour the cream into the bowl of chopped chocolate.

Let it sit for 1 minute…….

then stir until the cream and chocolate are combined.

Let the chocolate cool to room temperature,

then place in the refrigerator.

Once the crust and the chocolate are chilled,

place a scoop of the chocolate in the graham cracker cup. You can go to this step if you want to prep this recipe for a large crowd. If you do, then place the filled graham cracker

cups with the chocolate, cover and refrigerate.

Top with a marshmallow star. Toast the marshmallow with the kitchen torch.
  Serve and make someone smile!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
