Let’s get started!
– 2 cups raw almonds – 2 tablespoons honey – 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon – 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper – 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin – Pinch of salt
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of raw almonds with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin, and a pinch of salt. Stir well to coat the almonds evenly with the spice mixture.
3. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of honey over the spiced almonds. Use a spoon or spatula to stir and toss the almonds until they are evenly coated with the honey. 4. Spread the coated almonds in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are evenly spaced out.
5. Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and roast the almonds for about 15 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking time. 6. Once the almonds are golden brown and fragrant, remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the almonds cool completely on the baking sheet.
8. Once cooled, transfer the Spiced Honey Roasted Almonds to an airtight container for storage or serve them immediately as a delicious snack or appetizer.
