Let’s get started!
– Approximately 1/2 pound cooked shrimp peeled, deveined, and chopped. – 4 ounces 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened. – 2 tablespoons mayonnaise. – 1 teaspoon lemon juice. – 2 tablespoons green onions thinly sliced.
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, green onions, fresh dill, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. 2. Add the chopped cooked shrimp to the cream cheese mixture and fold gently until the shrimp is evenly distributed and coated with the creamy mixture.
3. Spread a generous amount of the shrimp and cream cheese mixture onto one side of each bread slice, covering it evenly. 4. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the shrimp mixture on half of the bread slices.
5. Place the remaining bread slices on top of the cheese-topped slices, forming sandwiches. 6. If desired, trim the crusts from the sandwiches using a sharp knife.
7. Cut the sandwiches into desired shapes, such as triangles or rectangles, using a bread knife. 8 Serve the Cheesy Shrimp Tea Sandwiches immediately or refrigerate them for later if not serving immediately.
