Let’s get started!
– 1 package Crab legs – oil for frying – 1/2 cup all-purpose flour – 2 large eggs beaten – 2 cups panko breadcrumbs – Seasonings of your choice salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika
1. If the crab legs are frozen, thaw them completely under cold water or in the refrigerator for the entire night. 2. In a shallow dish, mix together eggs and desired seasonings to make an egg wash. 3. Mix flour and extra seasonings in a separate bowl to coat.
4. For extra crunch, feel free to toss in some panko or breadcrumbs with the flour mixture. 5. In a big skillet or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. 6. After completely coating each crab leg in the egg wash, roll it in the spiced flour mixture.
7. Coated crab legs should be gently lowered into the hot oil and cooked for four to five minutes, or until crispy and golden brown. 8. Remove the fried crab legs from the oil with tongs, then use paper towels to absorb any leftover oil. Let cool somewhat before arranging to serve.
