– 1/2 oz 15 ml crème de cassis – Chilled champagne or sparkling wine – Fresh blackcurrants or a lemon twist for garnish.
1. Place champagne flutes in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes to chill them. 2. Add 1/2 oz (15 ml) of crème de cassis to each chilled champagne flute.
3. Slowly pour chilled champagne or sparkling wine into each flute, filling it to the top. 4. Garnish each Kir Royale with a few fresh blackcurrants or a twist of lemon for an extra touch of elegance.
