– 14.5 oz Diced tomatoes – 14 oz Sausage, sliced – 12 oz Frozen okra – 2 cups Water – 1 tbsp Minced garlic – 1/2 tbsp Salt – 1/2 tbsp Onion powder – 1/2 cup Yellow onion, chopped – 1/2 tbsp Garlic powder
1. In a large pot, combine okra, tomatoes, and water. 2. Season the above mixture with:Garlic powder, Onion powder, Seasoned salt, Chopped onion, Minced garlic 3. Cook over low to medium heat for 30 minutes.
4. While okra is cooking, slice sausage and fry until browned on each side. 5. Remove sausage from the pan and blot any excess oil.
6. Add the sausage to the okra mixture. 7. Simmer for an additional 20 minutes. 8. Remove from heat and serve over white rice.
