– 2 tbsp Flour – 1/2 lb Large Torchio shape pasta – 2 cups Whole milk – 2 tbsp Unsalted butter – Salt and fresh cracked black pepper to taste – 1 lb Pepper Jack cheese, shredded – 2 Thinly sliced jalapenos
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Cook pasta al dente, then set aside. 3. Melt butter in a large pan, then whisk in flour. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add milk, whisking until smooth. Cook until thickened
4. Remove from heat, adding cheese gradually while stirring until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. 5. Combine cooked pasta, jalapeños, and cheese sauce. Top with reserved cheese. –
6. Bake for 20 minutes, then broil for 1-2 minutes for extra browning. 7. Serve hot with a green salad.
