– 3-1/2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 tablespoon dry yeast – 1 stick 100 grams butter melted – 1/2 cup sugar – 2 eggs – 3/4 cup milk – Pinch of salt – 1 teaspoon vanilla extract / paste – 2 cups farmer cheese – 1 Egg – 1/2 cup sugar – 1 teaspoon cinnamon – 1 cup raisins
1. In a stand mixer bowl, place all dough ingredients and knead with the kneading hook for 5 minutes until you get a unified dough. 2. Grease the bowl and make sure all the dough is greased too, cover with plastic and let the dough rest in a warm place for about an hour.
3. Set the oven to 180°C / 350°F with the fan. In a bowl, mix all the filling ingredients well. Divide the dough to 2 equal parts. 4. Roll one part of the dough into a large rectangular leaf, about 3 to 4 mm thick. Spread half of the filling and roll the rectangle. Cut the roll in the middle.
5. Braid the 2 strands and transfer to a greased loaf pan. Repeat with the second half of the dough. Bake the 2 loaves for 30 minutes. 6. Cool at room temperature. Serve and enjoy!
