– 1 Blender – 1 Shaker – 1 Glass
– 2 oz 60 ml silver tequila – 1 oz 30 ml triple sec – 1 oz 30 ml freshly squeezed lime juice – 1 oz 30 ml pomegranate juice – 1/2 oz 15 ml agave syrup or simple syrup – Ice cubes – Salt or sugar for rimming (optional) – Lime wedges and pomegranate arils for garnish (optional)
1. If desired, rim the edge of a margarita glass with salt or sugar. 2. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine the silver tequila, triple sec or orange liqueur, freshly squeezed lime juice, pomegranate juice, and agave syrup or simple syrup.
3. Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to thoroughly chill the ingredients and combine the flavors. 4. Strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared margarita glass filled with fresh ice cubes.
