Let’s get started!
- 1 Knife - 1 Cutting Board - 1 Mixing bowl - 1 Spatula
– 1 loaf Baguette – 1 pint Fresh Strawberries diced – ½ cup Fresh Basil Leaves – 4 ounces Goat Cheese approximately ½ cup – 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar – 2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil – Salt to taste – Black Pepper to taste
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the baguette into ½ inch thick rounds and arrange them on a baking sheet. Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil. Toast the baguette slices in the preheated oven until they are lightly golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the oven and set aside.
2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced strawberries, chopped basil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir gently to coat the strawberries evenly with the balsamic vinegar and seasonings. 3. Spread a generous amount of the strawberry mixture onto each toasted baguette slice. Make sure to distribute the mixture evenly.
4. Sprinkle crumbled goat cheese over the top of each bruschetta. 5. If desired, drizzle a small amount of balsamic glaze over the assembled bruschetta for an extra burst of flavor. 6. Arrange the prepared Strawberry Bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately.
7. Enjoy this delicious appetizer with friends and family!
