Ingredients
  

  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground cloves
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 cups white sugar
  • lbs apples - peeled, cored and finely chopped

Instructions
 

  • Place the apples in a slow cooker.

  • In a separate bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt, then pour the mixture over the apples and stir until well-coated.

  • Cover and cook on High for an hour.
  • After that, reduce the heat to Low and let it cook, stirring occasionally, for 9 to 11 hours until the mixture becomes thick and dark brown.
