Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste.
  • 6 medium potatoes scrubbed.

Instructions
 

  • Adjust the oven temperature to 425 degrees. Next, cover a half or quarter sheet pan with aluminum foil and set a cooling rack over it.
  • Using a fork, make shallow pricks all over the potato. Transfer to a bowl, cover with oil, and season generously with salt. After rubbing to coat uniformly, put potatoes on the baking sheet that has been prepared.

  • Bake the potato for 50–60 minutes, rotating it halfway through with tongs, or until a toothpick or knife easily pierces the center.

Notes

  • As many baked potatoes as you'd like can be prepared at once! It will take longer, though, the more you bake.
  • Furthermore, your potatoes will take longer to bake if they weigh more than 6 to 8 ounces.
