- 1 Medium Onion
- 3 Cloves Garlic
- 1 Cup Fresh Parsley
- 2 Lbs Ground Beef you can also use lamb or a combination of both
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
In a small food processor, chop up the onion, garlic, and parsley.
Place the ground beef into a large bowl and add the chopped onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Mix the beef mixture until well combined.
Shape the mixture into kofta kebab shapes. You can grill them as is or place them on skewers before grilling.
Grill or pan-fry the kofta until thoroughly cooked, about 4-6 minutes per side depending on the size and thickness. Cook until well done, with an internal temperature of 160 to 165 degrees F.
- Finely chop the onion, garlic, and parsley in a food processor for a smooth and evenly mixed beef kofta.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
- Cook a small piece of the beef mixture first to taste and adjust the seasoning if needed before shaping the kebabs.
