Ingredients

Beef Frying

  • 1 Small Onion
  • 200 g Angus Beef
  • 2 Garlic Clove
  • 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
  • 6 Sliced Button Mushrooms
  • 30 ml Sesame Oil
  • 1 Small Brocolli

Beef Marination

  • 1 Miinced Garlic Clove
  • 1 tsp Fresh Minced Garlic
  • 30 ml Soy Sauce

Beef Sauce

  • 80 ml Water
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper Grounded
  • 30 ml Soy Sauce
  • 8 g Cornstarch
  • 30 ml Chinese Wine
  • 1 tsp Any Granulated Sweetener of your choice

Beef Serving

  • 1 Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 batch Rice
  • 2 Stems Scallions

Instructions

Beef Marination

  • Combine the beef with soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a bowl. Allow it to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes or refrigerate for 30 minutes before use.

Beef Sauce

  • In a little bowl, stir together cornstarch and water until it's smooth. Add in soy sauce, wine, sweetener, and black pepper. Set it aside.

Beef Frying

  • Heat some oil in a stir fry pan. Put in the garlic and cook it gently for 10 seconds.
  • Throw in the onion and keep cooking, stirring until it turns golden brown – that usually takes about 1 minute.
  • Add the mushroom slices and stir fry for another minute until they start to release their water and turn brown.
  • Now, add the beef that you marinated earlier – but don't pour in the marinade sauce just yet. Stir fry until the outside of the meat gets brown but it's still a bit raw inside.
  • Toss in the bell pepper and broccoli florets and stir fry for another minute.
  • Next, pour in the sauce and the rest of the marinade. Cook and stir until the sauce thickens, which usually takes about 1 minute.
