Broccoli Beef Panda Express Recipe

- 1 lb Flank steak thinly sliced against the grain
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 3 tbsp Shaoxing wine divided
- 1 lb Broccoli florets cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Cooking oil canola or vegetable oil works
- 1/4 tsp Sesame oil
- 2 Garlic cloves minced
- 1 tsp Ginger finely minced
- 2 tbsp Oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp Water
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tsp Sesame seeds optional
Mix sliced beef, cornstarch, and 2 tablespoons of Shaoxing wine in a ziplock bag. Let it sit for 20 minutes.
Microwave broccoli in a bowl with a wet paper towel for about 2 minutes until partially cooked.
Combine oyster sauce, water, 1 tablespoon of Shaoxing wine, brown sugar, soy sauce, and cornstarch in a small bowl. Stir well.
Heat oil in a wok on high heat.
Add 1/3 of the marinated beef and sear for 1 minute on each side. Repeat with remaining beef.
Add minced garlic and ginger to the wok and cook for 10-15 seconds.
Return beef to the wok, add broccoli, and pour in the sauce.
Toss everything together until the sauce thickens slightly.
Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
