Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Ground Chicken
  • 1 Large Egg
  • ½ Cup Plain Breadcrumbs
  • 1 oz Packet Ranch Dressing Mix
  • ½ Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese plus more for topping, if desired
  • 3 Slices Cooked Bacon Chopped
  • 2-3 Tbsp Olive Oil

Prepare the Chicken Mixture

  • In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, plain breadcrumbs, ranch dressing mix, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped bacon.

  • Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

Form the Patties

  • Divide the mixture into four large patties. For smaller burgers, you can make six medium-sized patties.

Cook the Patties

  • Heat 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Once hot, add the patties to the skillet.
  • Cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, ensuring they are golden brown on the outside and cooked through on the inside (internal temperature should reach 165°F).

Serve

  • Serve the chicken burgers on buns and top with your desired toppings. Suggestions include pickles, sliced tomatoes, additional cheese, and ranch dressing.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in some chopped green onions or jalapeños into the chicken mixture.
  • These burgers can also be grilled on medium-high heat for about the same cooking time, ensuring the grill is well-oiled to prevent sticking.
