Ingredients
  

  • 4 Chicken breasts boiled and diced
  • 8 oz Cream cheese room temperature
  • 1 medium Onion diced
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 4 cans Crescent rolls 32 rolls
  • 2 cans Cream of chicken soup 10.5 oz each
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 12 oz Evaporated milk
  • 2 cups grated Cheddar cheese

Instructions
 

  • Sauté the diced onion in a large pan with 2 tablespoons of butter.
  • Remove from heat and add cream cheese. Stir until melted and well combined with the onions. Add the diced chicken and mix well.
  • Spoon a generous tablespoon of the chicken mixture onto the wide end of each crescent roll. Roll the crescent roll towards the point, tucking in the sides.
  • Place the stuffed rolls about ½ inch apart in a 9x13 baking dish. (This recipe usually requires 2-3 baking dishes.)
  • In a saucepan over medium-low heat (or in the microwave), combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, and evaporated milk. Heat until well combined.
  • Pour the sauce over the rolls until they are covered. Top with grated cheddar cheese.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.

Notes

  • Use Rotisserie Chicken: For a quicker prep time, use store-bought rotisserie chicken instead of boiling and dicing chicken breasts. This will save you time and add a delicious flavor to the filling.
  • Prevent Overfilling: Be careful not to overfill the crescent rolls with the chicken mixture. A generous tablespoon is enough to ensure the rolls seal properly and don't burst open while baking.
