Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup Milk
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 ¾ tsp Baking powder
  • 2 Granny Smith apples 
  • 1 ½ cup Flour
  • 2/3 cups Sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 Large eggs
  • ½ cup Butter

Glaze

  • 1 cup Powdered sugar
  • 3 tbsp Milk

Instructions
 

  • Set your oven to 350º Fahrenheit.
  • Line a bread pan with parchment paper and spray it with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and set aside.
  • In a medium bowl, combine chopped apples with 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Stir until apples are evenly coated. Set aside.

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together butter and ⅔ cup sugar until the mixture is fluffy.
  • Add eggs and vanilla, and continue beating until smooth.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gradually add this to the wet mixture, beating until just combined.
  • Stir in ½ cup milk until the batter is uniform.
