Classic Tuna Salad Recipe
This classic tuna salad is amazing! It's great on top of salads, in lettuce wraps, sandwiches, or just eaten with sweet potato chips straight from the bowl. Creamy but not too mayo-heavy, perfectly seasoned, and super easy to make! It's ideal for a quick lunch or you can prep it ahead of time. - 6 ounces Canned Tuna
- 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon Mustard
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1/4 cup Celery finely chopped
- 2 tbsp Red Onion finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- Lettuce leaves and bread for serving {Optional}
Firstly, open the can of tuna using a can opener and drain any excess liquid.
Then, place the tuna in a mixing bowl and use a fork to flake it into small pieces.
Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to the bowl.
Mix everything together until well combined.
Add the chopped celery and red onion to the bowl and mix again.
Season the tuna salad with salt and black pepper to taste.
If desired, serve the tuna salad on lettuce leaves or between slices of bread to make a sandwich.
