Equipment

  • Muffin Tin

Ingredients

  • Chocolate sprinkles
  • 2 cans chocolate frosting
  • 16 oz sugar cookie dough

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • Divide the 16 oz of cookie dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  • Arrange the balls in a 12-count muffin tin and bake for 15-17 minutes, or until they are lightly golden and the centers appear set.
  • Once baked, take a small utensil, such as a teaspoon, and gently press down in the center of each cookie to create an indentation.
  • Allow them to cool in the pan for a few moments before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Once cooled, fill the centers with frosting and garnish with sprinkles.

Notes

  • If using a different type of cookie dough, such as one that’s denser or softer, adjust the baking time accordingly to ensure the centers are fully cooked and set.
  • Allow the Cookie Cups to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. This helps them firm up and prevents them from breaking apart.
