- 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 3/4 cup All purpose flour
- 3/4 cup Powdered sugar
- 1 cup Butter
Frosting For Cotton Candy
- 3 tbsp Cream cheese
- 2 tbsp Heavy cream
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 3/4 tsp Cotton candy extract
- Pink and purple Nerds
- Pink food coloring
- 2 cup Powedered sugar
- Blue food coloring
Preheat oven to 350℉. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Cream butter and vanilla extract. Gradually add powdered sugar and flour on low speed until well combined.
Using a 2½ inch cookie scoop, place dough on baking sheets, spacing 2 inches apart.
Bake for 13-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Transfer cookies to a cooling rack and cool completely.
Frosting For Cotton Candy
Cream together butter, cream cheese, and cotton candy extract.
Add powdered sugar gradually, whipping until light and fluffy.
If needed, add heavy cream in small amounts until desired consistency is reached.
Divide frosting into two bowls and color one blue and one pink.
Place cling wrap on a surface and pipe a blue frosting line.
Fold the wrap over and roll up, twisting ends together.
Refrigerate for 5-7 minutes. Repeat with pink frosting.
Cut off twist ends and fill piping bag with both frostings.
Swirl frostings onto cookies in a circular motion, starting at the edge and moving inwards.
Sprinkle Nerds on top of each cookie.
