Ingredients
  

  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 lb potatoes about 6
  • Paprika
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Peel and cut the potatoes into roughly 1-inch pieces.
  • Place the potatoes in a medium pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce the heat and let them simmer for about 15 minutes, until they are fork-tender.
  • Remove from heat, drain, and transfer to a serving bowl.
  • Set aside.
  • In a separate medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the flour, salt, and pepper, stirring continuously.
  • Gradually pour in the milk, whisking constantly until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
  • Pour the creamy sauce over the potatoes and gently toss to coat them evenly.
  • Garnish with a sprinkle of paprika, parsley, and additional salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

  • f you prefer a thicker or thinner sauce, you can adjust the amount of milk used.
  • For a thicker sauce, reduce the milk slightly or cook it longer until it reaches your desired consistency.
  • For a thinner sauce, add a bit more milk gradually until you achieve the perfect texture.
