- 4 tsp Pure vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups Brown sugar
- 1/2 Water
- 1 cup Coarsely chopped almonds
- 1 tsp Salt
- Chopped dried fruits
- 1 cup Coarsely chopped pecans
- 8 cups Rolled oats
Preheat your oven to 275 degrees Fahrenheit.
Cover two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a microwave-safe cup, combine brown sugar and water.
Microwave on high for 5 minutes until the sugar dissolves.
Take it out and stir in vanilla and salt.In a big mixing bowl, combine oats, nuts, and the brown sugar mixture. Mix them well
Spread the mixture onto the prepared cookie sheets and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour until it turns golden brown.
Once the granola has cooled down completely, you can add fruits if you like and store it in an airtight container.
