  • 12 Oz Rigatoni Pasta
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 Small Yellow Onion Diced
  • 1 28-Oz Can Crushed Tomatoes
  • ½ Cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 Tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional, for heat
  • ½ Cup Fresh Basil Chopped
  • ¼ Cup Parmesan Cheese Grated
  • Salt And Black Pepper To Taste

  • Prepare The Pasta: Cook the rigatoni in a large pot of salted, boiling water until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  • Make The Sauce: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the diced onion and garlic, sautéing until soft and fragrant (about 3-4 minutes).

  • Add Tomatoes And Cream: Pour in the crushed tomatoes and stir. Let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes, then add the heavy cream. Stir until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
