- Grated chocolate or toasted coconut, for garnish
- ½ cup cream cheese, at room temperature
- ½ cup marshmallow creme
- 1 pint strawberries
Start by using a paring knife to slice off the tops of each strawberry.
Cut them in half lengthwise and carefully remove the core.
Gently pat the insides dry using a paper towel and set aside.
In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to blend the cream cheese and marshmallow crème until the mixture is fluffy, which should take about one minute.
Spoon the mixture into a piping bag or a zip-top bag, then cut a small corner to pipe the filling into the strawberry halves.
Finish by garnishing with grated chocolate and/or toasted coconut.
Chill in the refrigerator until it's time to serve.
- Feel free to substitute the marshmallow crème with whipped cream for a lighter texture.
