- 3 1/2 cup Beef broth
- 1/2 tsp Kosher salt
- 3 Minced garlic clove
- 1 Diced bell pepper
- 1 Diced medium onion
- 1 pound Ground beef lean
- 1 cup Diced celery
- 2 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 1/2 cup Uncooked white rice
- Garnish- Chopped parsely or green onion
Heat a Dutch oven or heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat.
Add ground beef and crumble with a spatula, cooking for 4-5 minutes until no longer pink.
Stir in onion, garlic, green pepper, celery, Cajun seasoning, and salt. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add rice and beef broth to the pan.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cover and cook for 20 to 23 minutes or until rice is tender.
Let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes, then fluff with a fork.
Garnish with green onions or parsley before serving.
