- ½ cup old-fashioned oats
- ¼ tsp pure vanilla extract
- ½ tsp pure maple syrup
- ½ cup milk, whichever type you prefer
Combine oats, milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract in a mason jar or bowl.
Secure with a lid and shake well to mix, or stir if using a bowl.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, and up to 4 days.
Stir the mixture and add desired toppings just before serving.
