  • 3 Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Red Onion
  • 1 Jalapeño Pepper
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro
  • 2 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the vegetables by washing and chopping them as follows: dice the tomatoes, finely chop the red onion, remove the seeds from the jalapeño pepper and finely chop it, and chop the cilantro leaves. Place them all in a mixing bowl.
  • Add the minced garlic, freshly squeezed lime juice, salt, ground cumin (if using), and black pepper (if using) to the bowl of chopped vegetables.
  • Mix all the ingredients together until well combined and evenly coated with the lime juice and seasonings.
  • Taste the salsa and adjust the seasoning if needed by adding more salt, lime juice, or other seasonings according to your taste preferences.
  • Optionally, cover the bowl and refrigerate the salsa for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together, or serve it immediately.
