Honey Nut Baked Brie

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz. Brie cheese wheel or wedge
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts pecans, or a combination
  • 2 Tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • crackers apple slices etc. for serving

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Score the top of the Brie rind with a knife (about 1/4 inch from the edge). Place Brie on a baking sheet.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the center is melted. Alternatively, microwave for 3-5 minutes.

  • While the Brie bakes, toast the nuts in a medium pan over medium heat until fragrant and golden.

  • Stir in honey, cinnamon, and salt to coat the nuts.

  • Once Brie is done, remove the top rind (if needed), then pour the nut mixture over the cheese.

  • Serve immediately with crackers, apple slices, or bread.
