Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound peeled and de-veined shrimp
  • 3 cloves garlic grated or finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley plus extra for garnishing
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lemon wedges

Instructions
 

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Pat shrimp dry with paper towels and set aside.
  • In a large bowl, mix garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, parsley, and seasonings.
    Mixing Marinade
  • Add shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  • Marinate for 15 minutes to 1 hour (not longer to avoid breaking down the shrimp).
  • Thread shrimp onto skewers.
  • Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for about 2 minutes per side until opaque and curled.
  • Serve immediately with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
