  • 4-5 limes preferably large and juicy
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

  • Wash the limes thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or residue.
  • Cut off the ends of each lime.
  • Cut the limes into quarters, then slice each quarter into smaller pieces.
  • Remove any seeds if necessary.
  • In a blender, combine the quartered limes with the granulated sugar and cold water.
  • Blend on high speed until the limes are thoroughly pulverized and the mixture is smooth.
  • Place a fine mesh strainer over a large pitcher or bowl.
  • Pour the blended lime mixture through the strainer, using a spoon or spatula to press down on the solids and extract as much liquid as possible.
  • Discard the pulp and seeds.
  • Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined.
  • Adjust the sweetness according to your preference by adding more sugar if desired.
  • Refrigerate the Brazilian lemonade for at least 1 hour to chill.
  • Before serving, stir the lemonade well to ensure that the ingredients are evenly distributed.
