- 1 4-pound Corned beef brisket with seasoning packet
- 1 cup Guinness or another stout beer
- 2 tbsp Dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Whole-grain mustard
Preheat the oven to 325°F.
Soak the corned beef in cold water for 15 minutes.
Drain and dry the corned beef.
Put the corned beef in a baking dish.
Pour the Guinness into the pan.
Mix the brown sugar, mustard, and seasoning packet in a small bowl.
Rub this mix on top of the corned beef.
Cover the pan and bake for 4 hours.
Remove the cover for the last 30 minutes of baking.
Take the corned beef out of the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
