- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- 1 Package double-crust pie pastry, thawed
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1/2 cup White sugar
- 5 cups Peeled and sliced pears
- 3 tbsp All-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp Lemon zest
Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C) with a baking sheet on the bottom rack.
Line a 9-inch pie plate with one crust; set aside the second crust.
In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, flour, cinnamon, lemon zest, and salt.
Layer pear slices in the prepared crust, sprinkling each layer with the sugar mixture.
Dot with butter and sprinkle with lemon juice.
Moisten the rim of the bottom crust with water.
