Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup very soft, unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Assembing

  • Warm pizza sauce
  • 8 slices white bread
  • 6 z pepperoni
  • 12 slices mozzarella cheese

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, combine butter, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning until smooth.
  • Spread the mixture on one side of each bread slice and place them butter side up on a sheet tray.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-low heat and place a slice of bread, butter side down, in the skillet.
  • Layer with mozzarella, 6 pepperoni slices, another mozzarella slice, 6 more pepperonis, and a final slice of mozzarella.
  • Top with another bread slice, butter side up, and cover with a lid.
  • Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Carefully flip the sandwich, cover again, and cook until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted.
  • Repeat with remaining sandwiches and serve immediately with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

  • Feel free to switch up the fillings by adding your favorite pizza toppings, such as bell peppers, olives, or cooked sausage, for a personalized twist on this grilled cheese.
