Ingredients
  

  • Whipped cream, or to taste
  • 3 cups Milk
  • 1/3 cup Oil
  • 3 Large eggs
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 Packages instant cheesecake-flavored pudding mix
  • 1 Package red velvet cake mix
  • 1 can Cherry pie filling
  • 1 1/4 cup Water

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Line a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan with parchment paper and lightly spray cooking spray on it.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, water, oil, and eggs.
  • Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds, then on medium speed for 2 minutes.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth it out.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool completely, about 30 minutes.
  • While the cake cools, whisk milk and pudding mix together for 2 minutes and let sit until set, about 5 minutes.
  • Cut the cooled cake into 1-inch cubes.
  • Place half of the cake cubes in the bottom of an 8-inch trifle bowl.
  • Layer with half of the pudding and half of the cherry pie filling. Repeat the layers once more.
  • Refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours before serving.
  • Garnish with whipped cream.
