Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound 450g large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 ounces 225g linguine or spaghetti
  • 4 tablespoons 60g unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/4 cup 60ml dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons 30ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes optional
  • Fresh parsley chopped, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet or sauté pan, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.
  • Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, until pink and opaque.
  • Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, and season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes if desired. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat evenly with the shrimp and sauce.
  • Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley.
  • Serve the Shrimp Scampi immediately, and enjoy!
