Ingredients
  

  • 14 ounces Smoked sausage like kielbasa, sliced into rounds
  • 1/2 cup Onion diced (about 1/2 medium onion)
  • 1 Red bell pepper diced
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika for more flavor or regular paprika
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 cups Low-sodium chicken broth
  • 1 cup Long-grain white rice
  • 3 tbsp Tomato paste

Instructions
 

Prepare Ingredients:

  • Slice the kielbasa into ¼-inch rounds.
  • Dice the onion and bell pepper into small pieces (¼ to ½ inch).
  • In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Cook the Sausage:

Add Remaining Ingredients:

  • Stir in the chicken broth, rice, tomato paste, bell pepper, and the spice mixture.

Simmer:
