Ingredients
  

  • 1/8 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes
  • 2 Thinly sliced medium-sized cucumbers
  • 1/8 tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tsp Kosher salt
  • 2 tsp White granulated sugar
  • 1/2 Sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup Red wine vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Place the sliced cucumbers in a colander set over a bowl.
  • Sprinkle with kosher salt and stir to coat evenly.
  • Let them sit for 15-30 minutes to drain excess liquid.
  • Pat the cucumber slices dry with a paper towel or clean kitchen towel and transfer them to a large bowl.
  • Add the red onion, red wine vinegar, sugar, black pepper, and crushed red pepper to the bowl with the cucumbers.
  • Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Cover the salad and refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
