- 2 pounds Tenderized cube steak
- 1 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 3 1/4 cups Milk divided
- 3 Large eggs
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 5 tbsp Butter
- Salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
Preheat oven to 200°F (93°C). Pat cube steak dry and cut into strips.
Mix flour, Cajun seasoning, and baking powder in a bowl.
Whisk 3/4 cup milk, eggs, and Worcestershire sauce in another bowl.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Dip steak strips in flour, then egg, then flour again.
Fry strips in oil for 1-2 minutes per side until golden.
Drain on paper towels and keep warm in the oven.
Wipe skillet and return to medium heat.
Melt butter and whisk in 1/4 cup seasoned flour until bubbling.
Gradually whisk in 2 cups milk until gravy thickens.
Season with salt and pepper. Add more milk if too thick.
