The Ultimate Chocolate Truffle Pie Recipe

This rich vegan chocolate pie blends creamy nuts, luscious cocoa, and fresh strawberries or cherries. Perfectly sweetened and optionally topped with chocolate, it’s an indulgent yet wholesome dessert for any occasion!

Equipment

  • High-powered blender or food processor
  • Cereal bowl (for soaking nuts)
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula
  • Pie dish (if using a crust)

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp dutch or additional regular cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 cups raw cashews or macadamias
  • 2 1/2 cups strawberries or pitted cherries 250g
  • 1/2 tbsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup virgin coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup honey, agave OR 1/8 tsp uncut stevia
  • optional 3 oz chocolate chips melted with 1 tsp oil

Instructions
 

  • Place cashews or macadamias in a bowl and cover with water. Soak for 4–8 hours. Drain and pat dry.

  • Add nuts, cocoa powders, strawberries or cherries, vanilla extract, salt, coconut oil, and sweetener to a blender or food processor.

  • Blend until completely smooth. If using stevia, add 1/4 cup water for better blending. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed.
  • Pour the mixture into a prepared crust or leave it crustless in a pie dish.

  • If desired, melt chocolate chips with oil and smooth it over the top.

  • Freeze for 2–3 hours or until set. Slice and serve.
