- 8 Crescent rolls
- 8 tbsp shredded Cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup shredded Cheese to top the crescents
- 8 slices Deli turkey
Preheat the oven or toaster oven to 375 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Unroll the crescent rolls from the tube and separate them into eight triangles.
On the wider end of each dough triangle, place one folded-up slice of turkey. Top with one tablespoon of shredded cheese.
Roll up the stuffed crescent from the wider end, being careful that none of the filling spills out. Seal the edges so the cheese doesn't come out while baking.
Bake for 12 minutes.
When there is one minute of cook time left, you can add shredded cheese to the top if desired.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Add a slice of ham or a different type of cheese for a new flavor twist.
- Include some veggies like spinach or bell peppers for added nutrients and texture.
- Prepare the rolls and refrigerate them uncooked for up to 24 hours. When ready to eat, just pop them in the oven.
