Ingredients

  • 1/2 Lime Juice
  • 2 cups Cubed Watermelon

Instructions

  • Dice the watermelon and freeze the pieces overnight.
  • Ensure the watermelon is completely frozen for a solid sorbet texture.
  • Place the frozen watermelon in a food processor and add lime juice gradually to avoid splattering.
  • Start with a few drops and adjust to taste later.
  • Continue processing until the mixture reaches a sorbet-like consistency.
  • Add more lime juice if needed.
  • For a sweeter sorbet, optionally add honey or another sweetener, but be cautious as it may affect texture.
  • Serve promptly and enjoy!

Notes

Simple sugar syrup may be made by combining equal parts sugar and water and boiling them for a few minutes over low to medium heat, if that's how you'd prefer to sweeten this. After cooling, place the watermelon pieces and syrup in the food processor.
