Ingredients
  

  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup whole fat or 2% plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ cup cold heavy cream or whipping cream

Instructions
 

  • Place all the ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer equipped with the whisk attachment, or use a hand mixer if you prefer.
  • Start mixing on low speed for about 20 seconds to incorporate the cream into the yogurt.
  • Gradually increase to the highest speed.
  • After approximately 2 minutes of whisking, reduce the speed and turn off the mixer.
  • Using a spatula, quickly mix the yogurt, scraping down the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is well combined.
  • Resume mixing for an additional 2-3 minutes until soft peaks form when the whisk is lifted.
  • The peaks should be firm enough to stand but not overly stiff.
  • Your whipped yogurt is ready!

Notes

  • Transfer it to a sealed container and store in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • Note that the yogurt will thicken a bit while chilling.
