Equipment

  • Measuring Cup (4 cups)
  • Small saucepan
  • Rubber Glove
  • Kitchen Twine
  • Punch Bowl
  • Scissors

Ingredients

  • 1 10 oz package frozen raspberries, thawed
  • 2 ½ cups cranberry juice
  • 2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 2 liters ginger ale
  • 2 liters sparkling apple cider non-alcoholic
  • 6 gummy snakes candy

Instructions

  • Prepare the Frozen Hand: Wash and rinse a rubber glove, then turn it inside out. In a 4-cup measuring cup, combine thawed raspberries and cranberry juice.
  • Pour 2 cups of the raspberry mixture into a small saucepan and sprinkle gelatin over it. Let stand for 2 minutes. Warm over low heat, stirring constantly, until the gelatin dissolves. Combine with the reserved raspberry mixture.
  • Carefully pour the raspberry mixture into the inverted glove. Gather and tie the top with kitchen twine, then freeze until solid (preferably for several days).
  • Assemble the Punch: Once the hand is frozen, carefully cut and peel away the glove. Place the frozen hand, palm side up, in a large punch bowl. Pour in ginger ale and sparkling apple cider.
  • Garnish with gummy snakes for a spooky effect and serve cold!
