The Freshman Cook: Happy Super Bowl Day!

It’s Super Bowl Sunday!

I hope everyone has a day full of good times, good food and good friends!

Here are some last minute chocolate footballs I made for the game!

I made them with chocolate and white candy melts.

I used this candy mold of footballs.

You can see the detail on this one a little better.

I used the white candy melts, in a decorating bag

to mark the laces on the ball and the side stripes.

Then I simply melted the chocolate candy melts

and poured it in the mold. I put the mold in the freezer for

about 5 minutes, and they were done. After about three minutes

of sitting outside the freezer, they popped right out!

I wanted to put sticks on them to make lollipops, but they

just didn’t look how I wanted them to. Maybe next time!

Have a super Super Bowl!!
