Black Pepper Angus Steak
Ingredients
Beef Frying
- 1 Small Onion
- 200 g Angus Beef
- 2 Garlic Clove
- 1/2 Red Bell Pepper
- 6 Sliced Button Mushrooms
- 30 ml Sesame Oil
- 1 Small Brocolli
Beef Marination
- 1 Miinced Garlic Clove
- 1 tsp Fresh Minced Garlic
- 30 ml Soy Sauce
Beef Sauce
- 80 ml Water
- 0.5 tsp Black Pepper Grounded
- 30 ml Soy Sauce
- 8 g Cornstarch
- 30 ml Chinese Wine
- 1 tsp Any Granulated Sweetener of your choice
Beef Serving
- 1 Fresh Cilantro
- 1 batch Rice
- 2 Stems Scallions
Instructions
Beef Marination
- Combine the beef with soy sauce, ginger, and garlic in a bowl. Allow it to sit at room temperature for 10 minutes or refrigerate for 30 minutes before use.
Beef Sauce
- In a little bowl, stir together cornstarch and water until it's smooth. Add in soy sauce, wine, sweetener, and black pepper. Set it aside.
Beef Frying
- Heat some oil in a stir fry pan. Put in the garlic and cook it gently for 10 seconds.
- Throw in the onion and keep cooking, stirring until it turns golden brown – that usually takes about 1 minute.
- Add the mushroom slices and stir fry for another minute until they start to release their water and turn brown.
- Now, add the beef that you marinated earlier – but don't pour in the marinade sauce just yet. Stir fry until the outside of the meat gets brown but it's still a bit raw inside.
- Toss in the bell pepper and broccoli florets and stir fry for another minute.
- Next, pour in the sauce and the rest of the marinade. Cook and stir until the sauce thickens, which usually takes about 1 minute.
