Cheeseburger Spring Rolls Disney
Equipment
- Large skillet
- Mixing bowl
- Cutting Board
- Knife
- Spring Roll Wrappers
- Small Bowl of Water
- Deep Fryer or Large Pot
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 onion chopped
- 6 oz Velveeta cheese
- 1/2 cup dill pickle relish
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard
- 5 Worcestershire sauce shakes
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1-2 cup vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Put the onion and ground beef in the pan. Cook until the onion is clear, and the beef is cooked. While it cooks, break the onion up into little pieces. Take out any extra oil from the pan.
- Put in the Velveeta and stir it around a lot while cooking on low heat until the cheese melts.
- Add the Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and pickles and mix them in well so that the spices are spread out evenly in the beef.
- Lay out a spring roll wrapper so that one corner faces you on a clean surface. Place a tablespoon of the ground beef mixture in the middle of the wrapper, leaving a little space around the sides.
- Fold the bottom corner up over the filling and tuck it in tightly to start making the spring roll. Fold the corners on the sides in and keep rolling until you get to the corner at the top. To seal the spring roll, wet the top tip with some water.
- Do it again with the rest of the filling and spring roll covers.
- In a deep fryer or a big, deep skillet, heat the vegetable oil to about 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully add a few spring rolls at a time to the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy. Turn the rolls over every so often to make sure they cook evenly. Each batch should only take two to three minutes. After the spring rolls are done cooking, put them on a plate lined with paper towels to drain any extra oil.
- Serve hot with Japanese Yum Yum sauce for dipping and enjoy your Cheeseburger Spring Rolls Disney!
Notes
- Ensure Proper Wrapping: Seal the spring roll wrappers tightly to prevent the filling from leaking during frying.
- Prevent Oil Splatter: Pat the spring rolls dry with paper towels before frying to minimize oil splatter.
- Maintain Oil Temperature: Fry the spring rolls in batches at the correct oil temperature to ensure even cooking and crispiness.
- Serve Immediately: Enjoy the spring rolls hot and crispy for the best texture and flavor.
- Experiment with Fillings: Feel free to customize the filling with your favorite cheeseburger toppings like pickles, onions, or bacon for a unique twist.
